Salad Series #5 - Fiber Packed!!

Fiber packed salad 🥗 😋 -- most are lacking that fiber in their diet & if you need more, this is a delicious way to get it in!


Most of the time, salads are a variety of things I keep or just have in my fridge. This is the perfect example.

You'll notice I use a lot of different ingredients, but I often add beans for their fiber and protein. This helps you stay full longer. It's also cheap and easy. This time, I had lentils. I don't eat them often, but they were a delicious replacement option for my usual.


Salad can look however you need it to. It doesn't have to be consistent or boring. You can use what you have. 😌 & it can be delicious.


Salad Recipe:

3-5 okra sliced

1 cup summer crisp lettuce chopped

A few sliced pickled beets

1/4 cup green lentils

1/4 sliced cucumber

Diced red onion to taste


Dressing:

Drizzle of Balsalmic Vinegar

Drizzle of Olive Oil

Sprinkle Earthy Essence Garlic Salt from Blends & Bloom Botanicals

Sprinkle of coriander powder

Black pepper to taste
