This presentation will focus on 5 herbs ready to harvest in the month of August! We will go over identification tips, uses, and more! We will also make elderberry syrup (each participant will have the opportunity to try) + a take home recipe!

About the event
August is an ideal time to discuss herbs in Northeast Georgia! There are numerous beautiful plants to explore. In this class, you'll discover 5 plants commonly found in our area. It will include tips for accurate identification, harvesting methods, common uses, and other useful advice. Additionally, there will be a demonstration on making elderberry syrup! You'll have the chance to sample it yourself and receive a recipe to take home!
This class will be located in Clarkesville, Georgia in the United Community Bank Community room. The entrance is to the right of the building when you're in the front parking lot.
